I have to admit to being a fan of most of the family oriented Adam Sandler movies…okay and some of the more goofy movies as well and this one was no disappointment either. This is definitely a cutesy family movie that leaves you with a feel good feeling at the end, the perfect film for a date night but perhaps not the type of film you guys would want to watch with all your buddies on a poker night.
The moral of the story is cute, a real “don’t give up on your happy ending” type of thing and it leaves you with a smile. The best part of this one? It doesn’t weigh on you like many of the more intense action movies out these days, there’s minimal if any cursing and it’s a light enough movie that you can enjoy it without analyzing it or having to pay complete attention to every second of the film. My biggest downfall is not being able to put my laptop down for the duration of a movie so when I was able to watch this one whilst multi-tasking on my trusty laptop it was definitely a plus.
