I was never one to think that Sams Club was a necessity for a family of two…well two and a dog but with the rate at which Techguy has been losing weight lately I figured it was time to stock up on a few snack foods and, well, other necessities that we seem to go through like you wouldn’t believe. So we made the pilgrimage to Sams Club today, let it go down on the record that Saturday is officially the worst day to make a run to Sams Club. Fighting through the vultures who insist on congregating around every single free sample display for fear that they will miss out on a snack or two is infuriating, but we managed to duck in and out without too much of a fuss with our “necessities”, apples, Cracker Jack (a personal favorite of Techguy) and Nature Valley granola bars which make for the perfect breakfast grab and go food.

Wouldn’t you figure the one day I actually have my Sams Club card ready to hand to the membership sniper at the door no one asks me for it.
