A Blackberry Curve 8900

Blackberry Curve 8900

Meet the newest member of the family, purchased for a whopping $0.99c from my local Best Buy when they price matched a contract renewal price from Walmart. I’ve never been a huge phone-y (laugh if you like, I admit to a snicker while typing that) person but a few years ago I began taking a few months away from my ball and chain and spending a lovely 6 weeks down in FL just my mother and I…anyhow I digress, the point was that while I was down there I found a need to stay in touch via e-mail so I invested in a Palm Treo 750. The Palm Treo 750 is also known as the biggest piece of crap ever and insisted on freezing at least once a week and the alarm function only worked when it deemed fit from day one. Well when my Palm decided to freeze again last week I decided it was for the last time and going in to Best Buy I was determined to replace my huge piece of crap with something else…which was hopefully not such a huge piece of crap. The Blackberry is smaller I’ll give it that, as for function, well it does most of what I would like; however, since I refuse to shell out the $30 a month for the internet access when I was previously paying only $15, I am without e-mail unless I find myself a wifi to run off…for an extra $15 I can find a free wifi. Yes, I am cheap…you will come to learn that I am a penny pincher but I do love to have gadgets so with my nifty new Blackberry I intend on snagging some pics at random points to share with you all for no other reason than because I can.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE my BB 8900! I was using a Bold before but I picked this one up because it’s so much thinner and lighter and I really notice the change in weight alone!
